I’m taking a law class this week and as I’m stuck at our
Yarrow Bay training center all week and have very limited time to do anything
else, I will continue our Contingency Series next week with a look at the
Financing Contingency, the ways around it, and what it means to the buyer or
seller. I will also be talking about Appraisal and Earnest Money as all of
those kind of go together. Stay tuned for that! My last weeks post on
Inspection Contingency got several hundred views through blogger and was one of
my most popular posts on social media platforms as well.
Last weekend was my first time without my work phone and
computer in a year. I mean for reals, I always have my laptop with me as well
as my phone, but I knew I would not have the time or the required number of
bars on my phone to get online and do anything in the middle of the woods, besides
I wasn’t there to work. So, for the very
first time I turned on the out of office, left my laptop on the desk and the
phone right next to it. I have to say it ended up feeling quite refreshing
after I got over the initial withdrawal symptoms of trying to find my phone in
my pocket every three minutes.
We had an amazing weekend with Mia’s Girl Scout Troop. Two
nights outside hiking, trying out archery and doing all sorts of fun stuff. When
we got home on Sunday we both needed a nap and my rain jacket still smells like
smoke after being washed. I better soak it in vinegar water next.
